Anyone who follows my work has surely noticed that mushrooms have long been a source of inspiration for me and have kindly served as models. I’ve exhibited my mushroom photographs in previous years as well. This year, the images were displayed on a larger scale on several occasions.
I have participated in competitions and experimented with different ways of presenting my work at exhibitions.
In March, one of my photos was shortlisted for the BBA Gallery’s ONE SHOT AWARD and was also on display there as part of the event.
In September during the Berlin Art Week I was part of a small group exhibition at the MaHalla.
At the Mycelium Laboratory Berlin of the mycelionaires in the basement of MaHalla, an exhibition featuring four different artists was on display for six days.
The whole thing was organized by the wonderful Sharlene Durfey François.
Preparing for an exhibition is always an exciting process. Selecting… printing… framing… hanging…
Here is a brief overview of the process.
In October, it was time for the next round of the Fungi Fever Fest at the Holzmarkt.
