Stefan Mayr actually has a full-time job in construction. However, in his little time off he started taking care of – by now – 70 goats.
At his stables, every goat is welcome, especially the ones that are not wanted anywhere else, due to not being “perfect” somehow and having flaws.
Last summer I visited him and his dog Tiger (also rescued from a life in a kennel) in the lower bavarian village of Thalhausen.
